Portland Citizens VOTE NO To Water Fluoridation!

Communities all over the world are starting to take an active effort in banning the fluoridation of their local water supply. Not to long ago, Windsor, Canada and a Queensland community in Australia did the same thing. Although the city itself was pushing for water fluoridation, Oregon citizens strongly opposed it with a majority of the voters saying no. It’s really encouraging to see the world waking up, one community at a time. It seems the ripple effect is growing, and information is spreading rapidly. The city council voted last year to add fluoride to the water supply that serves about 900,000 people, but opponents quickly gathered enough signatures to force a vote on the subject. Portland is one of the largest U.S. cities, and a majority of it’s population is well aware that the water used in water fluoridation practices is actually industrial toxic waste from the nuclear and fertilizer industries.

New Science has proven that there are limited Health Benefits to water fluoridation; fluoridated water is harmful to infants; fluoridation of public water supplies is an added burden on the environment and ecology; fluoridation is enforced medication which breaches an individuals civil liberties; water fluoridation places a heavy cost on Regional Councils for little benefit to the community; fluoride used in water fluoridation is contaminated with heavy metals including lead.

Modern scientific evidence is now overwhelming that fluoridation of drinking water is harmful and there is no significant reduction in tooth decay, as has been alleged in the past 40 years. Over 2400 Professionals' (including Doctors, Dentists and Scientists) have now moved to call for a worldwide ban on Fluoridation. Five percent of the world population is fluoridated of which over 50% live in North America; 99% of western continental Europe is not fluoridated for a variety of reasons. Many countries cite health, civil liberties or environmental concerns for rejecting, banning, or discontinuing artificial fluoridation.

The Fluoride Deception, a book by award winning investigative reporter Christopher Bryson, contains an impressive amount of research to demonstrate fluoride’s harmfulness, the ties between leading fluoride researchers and the corporations who funded and benefited from their research.
